Terms of Sale
These terms govern purchases made on rakus.audio. By completing a purchase you agree to them. We've kept them short and plain.
What you're buying
You receive a perpetual, personal, non-transferable license to use the plugin on up to the number of devices shown at the time of purchase (currently three). You may use it commercially, in your own productions, sessions, or work-for-hire.
What you're not buying
- The license is for personal use only; you may not resell, sublicense, or distribute it
- You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or redistribute the plugin binaries
- The license is tied to your account and is not transferable to another person
Activation
You can activate the full plugin on up to three devices simultaneously. Activation and normal deactivation happen from inside the plugin. If you still have access to a computer, use Deactivate inside Satellite to free that slot and clear the local activation state.
The account dashboard cannot silently disable an already activated offline plugin. If a computer is permanently lost, stolen, broken, or wiped and you cannot deactivate from the plugin, you can mark that device as lost from your account dashboard. This frees the slot, records the device as lost, and cannot be reversed from the dashboard. This is intended for real lost-device situations; repeated abuse may affect account support.
Demo builds
Demo builds are separate from the full paid build. A demo may require a Rakus account and periodic online validation during the trial. Demo access is for evaluation only and does not grant a paid license. After purchase, download and install the full build from your account dashboard.
Updates
Your license covers all future updates to the version you purchased. If a product is ever discontinued we will give reasonable notice, and your license to the last available version remains valid.
Update downloads for the full build are delivered through your account or through an authenticated update check inside the full plugin. Demo builds do not use the full-build update checker.
Right of withdrawal and refunds
Before purchasing, use the free 30-day demo if you are unsure whether Satellite is right for you. At checkout, you expressly consent to immediate digital delivery of the full paid plugin and acknowledge that digital access starts immediately after payment. Once that access is provided, you lose your 14-day EU withdrawal right for the digital content.
Because Satellite is available to evaluate before purchase, paid purchases are final after digital delivery. Rakus does not provide automatic dashboard refunds. If a genuine technical problem prevents use on a supported system, contact hello@rakus.audio and we will review it manually.
This refund policy does not remove rights that cannot legally be waived.
Warranty and liability
The plugin is provided in good faith and is reasonably fit for its described purpose. We make no warranties beyond what is required by applicable law. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the product.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. EU consumer law applies where mandatory under your local jurisdiction.
